I always love working with Andrea from pink sugar. It gives me a chance to learn more from an amazing person and I get to just relax and not worry about being the principal photographer. I got to work with her twice last year, so this is the first that I get to share with you.
Cara + Cam had such a fun wedding at Red Tail Landing Golf & Country Club. It’s not the first time I’ve been there, but I love going back to the same place to see how each couple makes it their own.
They are a cute couple with a really great group of family and friends supporting them
This is the cutest little old man ever.

I’m super excited for my first wedding of 2012 coming up this weekend in Canmore, but I have so much to blog, I really need to catch up.
Amy + Kris were married last August (see, I told you I’m behind) at the Hotel MacDonald. That hotel has a special place in my heart, as I was married there myself in 2005. I loved the way they had their brunch ceremony. Everyone was sitting at their tables like a reception and they just created an aisle down the middle. The food was amazing as well, one of the best buffet spreads I’ve ever seen.

Lauren + Josh are all kinds of awesome. After we got together for their engagement session, I had a feeling that their wedding at the Red Deer Golf & Country Club was going to be amazing. And, I was right.

I had a great time at Danica + Kenny’s wedding back in July. My favourite part was when Danica (a hairstylist herself) took over cutting her little nephew’s hair, even though she was busy getting ready.

Time off isn’t always a good thing for productivity.
Last year, I had a system.
Last year, I was on top of things.
Like my blog.
This year, I got to enjoy the limited summer we had. I took my family camping every chance I got. I didn’t have a wedding every single weekend (sometimes two), and yet, my poor little corner of the blogiverse is being sadly neglected. I have so much to share, so I am taking some time to get it out there
Natasha + Keith were my only destination wedding of the year, back in May, and I had never actually been to Valleyview before. Both of their families were so nice and welcoming and I had a great time with both of them

Kristi + Andrew are a pretty awesome couple, who had an equally awesome wedding with some amazing friends and family at their side, at the U of A’s Faculty Club back in May.

Katherine and Rob had a pretty awesome wedding. They did all of their portraits before the ceremony, they played mini golf and football after the portraits, she wore a football garter and blue shoes (boy, I love to see non-white shoes on a wedding day) and despite the threat of rain all day, this wedding couldn’t of turned out more perfect for everyone. It also reminded me why I almost always bring a second pair of shoes (sadly, this time I didn’t).
I had a hard time narrowing down my favourites, so this is a long post
Celia and Justin were my first wedding of the year back in April, and I loved every minute of it (It reminded me of my own wedding). The Chateau Louis Hotel was beautiful, and I think I have a new favourite dessert with their flambéed bananas over ice cream – can’t wait to try and duplicate it
